Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Outcomes
Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from potential clients
Work with internal team and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue within the company
Find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients and continue to grow business in the future
Cultivate leads and/or cold call as appropriate, nationwide to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
Plan approaches and pitches. * Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion. * Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Desired Skills and Abilities
Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred in a BDM role or seasoned Account Manager looking to take the next step
Possessing a “hunter” mentality, and enjoy prospecting
Experience networking, prospecting, sales planning, territory management and public speaking
Research, writing, closing skills, identification of customer needs and challenges
Thorough communicator and genuinely enjoys people
Excellent problem solver, inquisitive and sound listener
Ambitious and articulate self-starter with an exceptional work ethic
Strong organizational abilities
Able to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization as well as with clients
Has the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Has a highly energetic and goal-oriented personality
Knowledge of how to use social media effectively
